The Background
For Spring 2026, introducing our Meet the Maker is The Baker Street Boys - a London‑based design studio whose work sits between architecture, functional art and fine making.
Founded in 2014 by architect Tomasz Danielec and his partner Arkadiusz Glanowski, Baker Street Boys approach furniture through architectural thinking. Their designs are guided by a modernist principle - form follows function - and reduced to essential geometry, where proportion, structure and material define the object.
What draws us to their work is the discipline. There is no surface decoration, no unnecessary detail. Instead, the focus is on construction - welds, edges, junctions - and an honesty in how materials are handled. Industrial processes are refined into craft, with technical accuracy becoming part of the design language.

Baker Street Boys work closely with highly skilled European artisans, collaborating across workshops where precision, restraint and material knowledge are central to the making process. Their furniture is designed to be used, lived with and kept - objects that prioritise longevity over excess.
We regularly specify Baker Street Boys pieces within our interior projects, where their architectural clarity and material strength sit naturally within both private and larger‑scale spaces.
